ABOUT TN WOLVES

TN WOLVES is the Nashville-based music collaboration of Chris “CJ” Johnson and Mike Sweep, two longtime friends, musicians, songwriters and producers originally from Memphis, Tennessee.

After playing hundreds of shows together, CJ and Mike officially joined forces in 2020 as the writing and production team J Mystro, creating an outlet for the growing catalog of music they were writing and producing together. After relocating to Nashville, that collaboration evolved into something bigger — TN WOLVES was born.

Today, CJ and Mike write and produce music for TN WOLVES as well as other artists from their Midtown Nashville studio, The Wolf’s Den. As seasoned session and touring musicians, they have spent years on the road, in studios and on stages alongside numerous national recording artists.

In August 2026, TN WOLVES released RUN WITH THE WOLVES, marking a new chapter for the duo and the launch of their independent label, WOLFPACK MUSIC GROUP.

TN WOLVES is more than a band. It’s the result of years of friendship, songwriting, touring, producing and making music without worrying about where it fits.
