FROM MEMPHIS ROOTS TO MUSIC CITY

Chris “CJ” Johnson and Mike Sweep are TN WOLVES — longtime friends, musicians, songwriters and producers originally from Memphis, Tennessee.

After playing hundreds of shows together, CJ and Mike officially joined forces in 2020, creating the writing and production team J Mystro as an outlet for the growing catalog of music they were writing and producing together.

The collaboration never stopped.

After relocating to Nashville, the two entered a new chapter and TN WOLVES was born. Today, CJ and Mike write and produce music for themselves and other artists while continuing to perform as sought-after session and touring musicians. Throughout their careers, they've shared stages with numerous national recording artists and built their reputation the old-fashioned way — one song, one session and one show at a time.

THE NEXT CHAPTER

Now writing and producing as TN WOLVES, CJ and Mike operate from their Midtown Nashville studio, The Wolf's Den, where they develop new music, collaborate with artists and produce upcoming projects.

On August 18, 2026, TN WOLVES released their album RUN WITH THE WOLVES, marking the beginning of a new era for the duo.

Alongside the release, CJ and Mike launched their own independent record label, WOLFPACK MUSIC GROUP, creating a home for their music, production and future artist collaborations.

Memphis made. Nashville based. Built for the long run.
